Crossbeam Systems pushes payment compliance

Provider of security platforms for high-performance networks, Crossbeam Systems, has announced the availability of a white paper designed to help companies achieve Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) compliance.

Entitled “Achieving PCI Compliance without Appliance Sprawl”, it lays out a framework of how companies can meet the requirements of the current PCI standard, while maintaining the flexibility and scalability needed to adapt to future requirements. This is without having to make costly and complex upgrades to their networks.

“For enterprises, updates to PCI compliance have forced merchants to alter how they protect sensitive information,” said Jim Freeze, vice president of marketing for Crossbeam Systems. “It is impossible for companies locked into rigid security architectures to quickly and easily modify their security infrastructure.
